A girl has a secret lover that has two forms. The husband is a dog in the day and a man at night. After giving birth to puppies, the girl’s tribes desert her. After destorying her children’s dog skins, they turn into humans and become successful hunters.
In other versions, all the sons die to a monster. Another child is born, kills the monster, and restores the brothers.
