CEDA or The Confederación Española de Derechas Autónomas, was founded by José Maria Gil Robles on 28th February, 1933. CEDA had been composed multiple of small right wing parties that opposed Azaña's policies including his type of Republican govermnet. José Maria Gil Robles had created CEDA with the intention of protecting religion, family, and property within Spain in order to maintain and create unity.
