The Council of Telepaths attempted to have Archon Julius Egnatius killed because of his worrying Terran nationalist views and how he used his deep state connections to win the 2392 Archon Elections. The Council believed they were bringing him into a curses that would smite him dead because from what they could see this curse had a very low chance of giving a boon effect. However when the Council of Telepaths went into the Veil with Archon Julius and had him preform the telepathic ritual their worst fears came true as the Veil bestowed the powerful boon upon Julius. Suddenly in a blast every psychic sensitive species felt, the Council of Telepaths and Julius Egnatius weren't in the Veil, but in their HQ on Terra. Julius Egnatius was crowned the "Chosen One" by the Veil. He became immortal and a cult of personality started forming at his feet over the next five years.
