The pharaoh Ramses II is one of the most famous pharaohs. He ruled for more than 60 years and was on of the longest reigning pharaohs. From a young age, Ramses was a great soldier and at age 10 was made a captain in the Egyptian army. One of his most popular feats was against the Hittitie Empire which he won though he was extremely outnumbered.
