the Beer Hall Putsch was a violent attempt to secure Hitlers rise in power. the Beer Hall Putsch rebelled against the Weimar Republic in 1923. Hitler wanted to overthrow the German government 16 Nazis and 4 policemen died in a big gun fight. the Beer Hall Putsch was defeated by the Police and the army. two days after this Hitler was arrested and charged with high treason.
