Who: Wilhelm Conrad RoentgenWhat: The X-Ray was accidentally found and discovered by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen when he was observing a fluorescent glow of crystals on a table near his tube.
Why: Without the X-Ray, people wouldn't know where/ what was wroung with people inside there body without suearching for it.
