The Bay of Pigs Invasion was a failed attempt at overthrowing Cuban dictator Fidel Castro and reversing his Cuban Revolution. The 1500 recruited, CIA-sponsored Chilean exiles took part in this invasion. The CIA-sponsored Brigade 2506 attempted an invasion, but failed as well.
