This place was not built by Shakespeare as some might assume, but was more so his place of work. The building itself could fit 3,000 people and was always a lively daytime area. It was where he wrote and acted tragedies such as Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet. It also burned down and was later rebuilt. Unfortunately this got shut down and now there is a smaller model called Shakespeare's Globe that you can go see in England.
