Abraham observed that South America and Africa's coastlines fir like a puzzle. Also, Antonio found that plant fossils in Europe were also in North America where the continents look like they fir together. This relates to tectonic plates because the ideas and observations got scientists thinking that the continents were different plate tectonics and that they had somehow moved apart.
