This form of social information sharing is also a brief and effective way to announce research and publications, as well as to attract attention to your website and blog. You can attach documents, images or videos to your microblogging posts. Microblogs are important because they allow us to connect with the world around us. Microblogging sites give us a type of online community in which to interact. We can also use these sites as a way to learn, almost immediately, about current events or time-sensitive information.
