Fidel Castro became the dictator of Cuba after the Cuban Revolution and overthrow of Fulgencio Batista. The communist party of Cuba rises and takes control with Castro at the head. This was dangerous because before this point communism was far away in Europe and Asia. This leads to the Cuban Missile Crisis in the 60's, the closest point we have ever come midnight on the dooms day clock.
