TLC was a band consisting of 3 black women who performed hip hop music. Through their music these women brought light to those who have struggled through the oppression and are still struggling. The popularity and significance of their music landed this album on the Rolling Stones Top 500 Albums of All-Time. Their most famous song "Waterfalls" reached Billboard top 100's number 1 spot. These 3 women are seen as icons, not only for music, but for helping break the barrier that had been put against them for so long.
