The socialist nation agrees to the Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT). According to the US State Department, the treaty is summarized as follows: Countries with nuclear weapons will move towards disarmament; countries without nuclear weapons will not acquire them; and all countries can access peaceful nuclear technology.
