The Battle of Goliad was the 2nd battle fought in the Texas Revolution. The Texas army was led by George Collinsworth who defeated and outnumbered the Mexican army in Goliad. As a result, the Mexican troops surrendered to the Texans. This event embarked another victory for Texas.
