The first tourist trip by steamship Great Western was the starting point for the development of sea cruises. It was one of the entertaining tours. Napoleon's invasive wars opened Egypt for the West which became popular among tourists. But at the same time many areas remained unattractive for tourists: for example only northern part of Africa was available for tourists by the sea.
