Hitler made threats to the government about what would happen if the enabling act was not passed. It was passed by 444 votes to 94.This act gave him full power and control over Germany. He could arrest and execute his opposition at his will. His DICTATORSHIP had begun.
Democracy had voted to end democracy and destroy itself.
