The Committee of Five was unfavorable for the colonists. Had the writing of the Declaration of Independence been enlisted to Thomas Jefferson alone, then the enslavement of Africans would have been listed as a grievance and perhaps could have lead to the complete abolition of slavery and avoided the civil war.Добавлено на ленту времени:
