The Nintendo Switch was developed by Nintendo and is a one of a kind console, this is because of it's most heavily emphasised quirks which is the console being both a home console as well as a console to play on the go. The Switch was kept under wraps for a long time, where only the developers knew both the name of the Switch and why is was special. This created a lot of hype for the Switch as the mysterious console interested both long time Nintendo lovers as well as players who had never played a Nintendo console. The Switch has had many amazing, well-recieved exclusives like the beloved Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild and the new Super Mario Odessey (fantastic games personally). Strong exclusives and the promise of great 3rd party support have boosted Switch sales.
