Democritus put forth the idea of the atomic model.

Description: Democritus said that matter is amde of invisible particles called atoms and that they are indestructible and unchangeable. he stated that all atoms differ in size, shape and mass.

He did not provide a name or a diagram for his theory but it is referd to as Democritus theory.
