1 янв 1866 г. - 1865-66: The Black Codes (Southern State Governments were determined to keep blacks in an inferior position. The codes differed from state to state but there were common feature that all of them shared, for instance; inter- racial marriages were outlawed, black people were forbidden from giving evidence against a white person in court or serving on juries, they were not permitted to vote and segregation in schools was mandatory.)
