August 4 1999 Hase and Thompson meet--Hase asks if developers relationship group could handle evangelism for xbox. Thompson wants evangelism as part of Xbox decision, so Bachus should move over to Xbox, but Hase will stay. Didn’t want to prove himself for a new boss he didn’t know. With his departure, Xbox loses fiercely competitive strategist-- Nat brown takes leave of absence from Microsoft at this time.

So...Right around this time, Hase, Berkes and Brown drop out, lose credit for Xbox
