Circa October 1999, "He was already doodling around Xbox designs before Stewart formally assigned him to the project as creative director. During October 1999, Luke got around to making his first sketches of the Xbox. The only marker he had a the time was green. So his four sketches all used green in some way. He didn’t know it then, but one of them would become the Xbox design."
