This entailed that they would listen to Hitler and take his word to keep the peace. The munich pact was signed during the conference also. It was said to preserve "peace of our time". However it only lasted 11 months. The munich Conference soon led to the invasion of Czechoslovakia by Germany, Britain and France signing the treaty with poland, and finally the Lend- Lease Act of 1941.
