(p. 59) Cites the committees attitudes as a reason for her resignation. Their wish for her to take the unit to Russia, she claims, makes it seem: 'not a question of "Is the Unit needed," only of who will take it. The Unit may be needed but if I don't take it, it is not to go.' (p. 59).
