6 янв 140 г. - When Rome became an empire they controlled most of the Mediterranean already. By this time emperors after Agustus had taken over Gaul and much of central Europe. Under the control of emperor Claudius, they conquered most of Britain, Asia minor, Mesopotamia, all of North Africa, and the Eastern Coast of the Mediterranean.
