In alliance with the Hungarians and Bulgarians Hitler's forces invaded both Greece and Yugoslavia Hitler did this so that he could cover his southern flank from the anticipation of the invasion of The Soviet Union. Even with both Greece and Britain's forces combined could not stop this onslaught.
