It was in this year that we once again have a record of Nephi’s ministry. After the collapse of the government and the dividing of the people Nephi went out and began to preach in great power, trying desperately to restore the faith and unity of the people. His power in words and miracles was great, and angels ministered to him daily to strengthen him.
He also seems to have not been a member of any particular tribe, but traveled from tribe to tribe in his preaching.

His preaching was not well received and the people just got angry at his words.
It is almost certain that he was not the only one preaching at this time, but no other s are named directly in the record.
