Union victory. Major turning point for the Union. Fought at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The hills gave the Union a distinct advantage because it gave them "the high ground." During Pickett's Charge, Union soldiers slaughtered Confederate soldiers because they didn't have to look up in order to fight.
