The Council of Trent was a group of Bishops, Cardinals, and other high ranking officials that med to address doctrine and reform of the Christian church. They basically defined the religion in detail and redefined the morality of churches and church officials. One of the biggest things that they addressed were priests. After meeting, they then made sure that priests were properly prepared for priest-dom before taking on the position. (4.2)
