A single day on Mars lasts approximately 1 day and 37 minutes long. A single year on Mars last 687 days long. The average temperature on Mars is around 68 degrees Fahrenheit. Mars is home to the magnificent Olympus Mons which is a large shield crater that measures almost two and a half times taller than Mount Everest.
