In discussion we had an activity where we took some lyrics regarding the song "Barbra Allen," and changed them so that the piece was something new all together. We also went over the history of the piece as a whole. This was to show how oral tradition works. Every time a song is performed, it changes. Barbara Allen is a good example of Oral Tradition.
