When Octavian had found out that he had divorced his sister and had sent a fleet after him to try to kill him. When they didn't kill him Anthony had sailed out to see Octavian and had battled in the Battle of Actinium, Anthony's fleet was killed so he had retreated back to Cleopatra and they had both killed themselves so they wouldn't be captured and held prisoner by Octavian.
