Meanwhile, Arab leaders in the oil industry promise to put an embargo and 70% price increase on all oil to USA, Israel, and any of their allies. They promise that this will continue until their demands are met. Due to this, about two million gallons of crude oil is lost from going to West Europe, all in about a single month. Embargo is maintained until march of the following year.
