The Virtual Boy was made by Nintendo and released in 1995. It was marketed as the very first console capable of displaying stereoscopic 3D graphics. Sales failed to meet their targets for Nintendo and so my early 1996, they had ceased all distribution and game development with only 22 official games releasing on the system.
