Nordra and Izzaga are betrayed by Isaac, the party mage, and Nexa, one of the healers, who throw them into the chasm. Separated amidst the fall, Nordra and Izzaga are suddenly struck by spikes, thorns, spells, and more hostile projectors. For hours after, Nordra and Izzaga fall deeper and deeper, until, suddenly, *crunch*, they land.
After a swift moment of unconsciousness, Izzaga awakens to agony, her body broken, organs ruptured, bones shattered, and Nordra's similarly broken carcasses beneath her, the only reason for Izzaga's survival.
For nearly two weeks Izzaga forces her body to survive by consuming insects, dirt, and even parts of herself, but starvation soon overtakes her, and in a moment of madness she begins to consume Nordra's body. Amidst the feast Izzaga, tears falling, vows vengeance on the bastards that ruined her.
Able to move once more, Izzaga leaves the cavern she was in to discover hell. Outside of her little hidy hole the world she enters is a hyper-lethal hodgepodge of predators, beasts massively more powerful than she could imagine. But her vow drives her on, and she begins to grow herself as much as possible to eventually leave this hellish place.
