- Gabriel believes that God took Ben away from this world to heaven so he wouldn't have to live through the horrors of the world any longer. If he had not done this, Gabriel would never have met the group. Rick tells him to keep his theories to himself.
- Eugene checks the radio and gets no response so they move out to get closer to D.C. Two figures watch them from the shadows of the trees and decide to follow them.
