Emperor Constantine accepts Christianity in 313 AD and makes it the official religion of Rome in 323 AD after accepting it himself. Though Rome will fail, Christianity will not; the Catholic church continues and missionaries leave it for Anglo Saxon Britain in 598 AD to spend the breadth of the 600s converting pagan kings.
