As we walk to and sit in the restaurant, the influence of our southern neighbour, the United States is obvious. The U.S.'s ideals/values/policies have seeped into our country. I see Apple products (American company), American cars driving on the American side of the road, American restaurant chains, people speaking like Americans (ex. "washroom" instead of "loo"), and valuing the same things that Americans do (ex. coffee instead of tea at Starbucks). [POLITICS].
