Pueblo Revolt (1680):

The Pueblo Revolt of 1680 was an uprising of most of the indigenous Pueblo people against the Spanish colonizers and against encomienda in the province of Santa Fe, or present day New Mexico. Led by Chief Popé, this revolt was highly organized revolt. Santa Fe was held for twelve years but eventually recaptured by the Spanish. Even still the effects and results of the rebellion stayed, such as leading to the end of Encomienda, led to more religious freedom for Native Americans, and led to more cultural blending.
