The Triple Alliance was a secret agreement between Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy. The treaty assured that if one of them ever got attacked by any other great power, they would provide and support eachother. Above shows a political cartoon of the Triple Alliance, Italy struggling to reach the heights of Germany and Austria- Hungary, included is also a map.
