31 авг 1337 г. - Hundred Year's War (1337 C.E. -1453 C.E.)
Описание:
The Hundred Year's War happened over a span of 116 years and was an elongated conflict between England and France, in which the two places were fighting over land. The famous Joan of Arc was alive during the 100 year's war, which was very important for France's success. By the end of the war, she was almost saintly, but her reputation spiraled from there. As the French Government was afraid that she would turn on them, they tried her as a witch, and she was then burned at the stake. The last importance was the new technology of the Longbow, which could shoot 300 yards, and guns, which primarily were a "scare" tactic. The advancements in technology made warfare in the fight very interesting, both because of the distance of the warfare, and the strangeness of people dying from strange puffs of smoke. (3.1)
