Unlike the title this wasn't much of a battle as no shots were fired and no casualties occurred. Lt. Colonel George Rogers Clark and 175 of his "Kentucky Long Knives” surrounded a British fort in Kaskasikia, IL, Henry Hamilton's troops inside were caught of guard and forced to surrendered.
