When publicising his newspaper, The Liberator, William Lloyd Garrison becomes a well known abolitionist.Causes: William Lloyd Garrison had been very outspoken on the topic of slavery for many years prior to his Newspaper.
HI: Shortly after, a year later Garrison took part in forming the New England Anti-Slavery Society which was the first organization in the United States that urged immediate emancipation.
