After having to pay many taxes, the third estate thought it wasn't fair, broke off from the other estates, created The National Assembly, and started the french revolution. The Third Estate had paid too many taxes but still felt sympathetic for France, evident during the execution of King Louis XVI and Marie Anotinette.
