In the Seven Weeks War, also known as the Austro-Prussian War, took place after Bismarck provoked Austria into declaring war on Prussia. This influenced some German states to ally with Prussia, but more allied with Austria. It ended in a Prussian victory, which meant the exclusion of Austria from German States.
