Arguably the greatest and most well known playwright of all time, William Shakespeare was starting to make a name for himself. By 1592, he was living in London and writing poems and plays that were being performed at the Globe Theater. Shakespeare’s plays were based on classics and drew them from inspiration and plots. Many of his plays were focused on human flaws and types of character in the Renaissance view of human nature. Shakespeare’s plays were becoming an inspiration around the world.
