A group of white people who were against black people called the black panther party, rose to power in the late 1960s. They were still in power in the early 70's. They were still a group from 1966 until 1982. They lost power during the middle of the 70s when the government turned on the black panther party. The government arrested some of the group and showed it all to the public humiliating the group.
