Treaty signed between the United States, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union prohibiting the testing of nuclear weapons in outer space, underwater, or the atmosphere. This event is mostly related to the concept of detente because tensions between the west and the soviets were eased and control over nuclear weapons were put in place.
