It has been two years, and that one teammate, has just begun to talk to me.

According to her, she didn't want to waste her time getting to know me because SpEd teachers came and went at McLain. And, her experience with SpEd teachers is they are crazy.

Weirdly, she doesn't recognize that not acknowledging a teammate for nearly two years is not crazy.
