The Hebrew Bible says that Saul had one fighter that was the best, his name was David he was a young shepherd and musician. David became the next king, about 1000 B.C. David captured the city of Jerusalem and it became a capital. Also, he expanded his kingdom. David also wrote Psalms--poems or songs in the Bible. David’s son Solomon ruled after him.
